Boiler Servicing

Protect your boiler guarantee and keep everyone in your home safe with an annual boiler service

An annual boiler service is important because it helps to ensure that your boiler is operating safely and efficiently. During a boiler service, a gas safe engineer will check your boiler for any problems or issues and carry out any necessary repairs.

  1. Safety: A boiler service can help identify any potential safety issues with your boiler, such as carbon monoxide leaks.

  2. Efficiency: An annual boiler service can help ensure that your boiler is operating as efficiently as possible, which can save you money on your energy bills.

  3. Longevity: Regular boiler servicing can help extend the life of your boiler. By identifying and fixing any problems early on, you can avoid more serious and costly issues down the line.

Had terminal breakdown of old boiler. Phoned Dave who came to us, quoted for new boiler and checked ours remained safe. New boiler was fitted 3 days later, a job which involved removal of our huge old boiler and all the pipework prior to new fitting. Now so delighted with new Worcester Bosch which works a dream. Dave and his team worked efficiently and without any mess at all. Wonderful service and would highly recommend.

What happens during a boiler service?

01 Visual inspection

The engineer will visually inspect your boiler to look for any obvious issues, such as damage or corrosion. They will also check that the boiler is installed correctly and that it is safe to use.

02 Flue test

The engineer will test the flue to ensure that it is working correctly and that there are no blockages or leaks. The flue is the pipe that removes waste gases from the boiler.

03 Burner test

The engineer will check the burner to ensure that it is working correctly and that it is set to the correct level. The burner is the part of the boiler that burns the fuel to produce heat.

04 Gas pressure test

The engineer will test the gas pressure to ensure that it is correct. Incorrect gas pressure can cause problems with the boiler, such as reduced efficiency or safety issues.

05 Operation test

The engineer will test the operation of the boiler to ensure that it is working correctly and efficiently. They may also make any necessary adjustments to the settings to optimize the performance of the boiler.

06 Cleaning

The engineer may also clean the boiler to remove any build-up of dirt or debris. This can help improve the efficiency of the boiler and extend its lifespan.
